A Good Gospel Song: A Song of Praise and Worship To The Lord

A good gospel song (a song of praise and worship to the Lord ) puts the world back into perspective. Praise and worship songs can bring me to tears, but they always bring me into God’s presence, fill me with joy, and bring me peace.

A Good Gospel Song: A Song of Praise and Worship To The Lord

A Good Gospel Song

It was one of those days when I needed a “hug” from God. My husband had put on a CD of Southern Gospel music. The first couple of songs were story songs. Good songs and I enjoyed them, but no “hug.” Then came “the” song. The words were words of worship and praise.

Songs of praise and worship to the Lord put the world back into perspective. Praise and worship songs can bring me to tears, but they always bring me into God’s presence, fill me with joy, and bring me peace.

Praise and worship bless God and acknowledges His mercy and grace. Praise and worship acknowledge the magnificence of God — His righteousness, beauty, power, perfection and sacrifice; His creation and His protection of and provision for us. Praise and worship prepare us to receive what the Holy Spirit has to say to us.

Praise and worship increase our faith, strengthens and comforts us and prepares us for the battles we face daily in the world. Praise and worship are powerful. God lives in the praises of His people. So, if you really want to experience the presence of God, praise Him.
