Prayers asking God to fix something (intercessory prayers) usually include how we would like the something to be fixed. Pray what’s in your heart, but end with “Your will be done.”
And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28 NASB 1995)
Too many times I’ve wanted situations to work out a certain way. There have been so many times when I have wanted to pray, “Please, Lord, don’t let “this” happen. Please, Lord, let it work out “this” way.”
