That healing will come is hard to believe when the grief is so strong. But grieving and healing go hand-in-hand. And healing doesn’t mean forgetting and we need to give ourselves permission to heal.
I’ve suffered through the grief never thinking the terrible hurt and pain would ever subside, but it did and it is my pray that this poem helps you in your healing process.
As Christians, while the loss of a loved one brings hurt and pain, we can find comfort in the knowledge that if they belonged to the Lord, we know where they are and that we aren’t saying goodbye but see you later.
