None of us is perfect. We all sin. We all make mistakes. We can’t let Satan use our failures and mistakes to keep us from God and what He has for us — forgiveness, salvation, and love.
When I look at me, I see someone who is filthy, unclean, undeserving of God’s love, or of being in His presence. This truth is the reason I wrote “Why Me.” But my forgiveness doesn’t depend on me. Your forgiveness doesn’t depend on you either.
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. (2 Corinthians 5:17 NASB 1995)
