Praise and worship aren’t just about giving thanks to God for help and deliverance.
Do these two someones sound familiar?
- Someone who only gets into praise and worship after answered prayer or prayers.
- Someone who doesn’t get into praising and worshiping God if they don’t like the song or songs?
Praise and worship aren’t just about giving thanks to God for help and deliverance.
- Praise and worship blesses God.
- Praise and worship acknowledge the magnificence of God — His righteousness, beauty, power, perfection and sacrifice; His creation and His protection of and provision for us.
- Praise and worship prepares us to receive what the Holy Spirit has to say to us.
God lives in the praises of His people.
Psalm 22:3 says “But thou [art] holy, [O thou] that inhabitest the praises of Israel” (KJV).
If you really want to experience the presence of God, praise Him.
- Praise and worship increase our faith.
- Praise and worship strengthen and comfort us, and prepare us for the battles we face daily in the world.
- Praise and worship are powerful.
Decide you are going to praise and worship God for who He is, not just for what He has done for you and do it. Decide you are going to praise and worship God even if and when you don’t feel like it.
Praise and worship isn’t about us. It’s about God!
- Worship is about who God is!
- It’s about God being worthy of all our praise and worship!
Our praise and worship blesses God and brings Him joy. Decide to be someone who blesses God and brings Him joy no matter what is going on in your life.
